Hello world!With new blogs created every second, why create BlogOnSisters now? I have a vision of women being empowered through their faith, family, work and relationships. Part of this is my own story- I’ve benefited by having an extraordinary circle of sister-friends and mentors who have been my anchor throughout my life.
In addition, I have met women from all walks of life. I have learned from them, and grown personally because of them. I have been encouraged and inspired by their strength and ability to handle family, children and their careers — sometimes against amazing odds. Over the years I have observed that women, especially busy women, need more social outlets, more networking time. I am constantly amazed at how similar we are and how much we can benefit from our shared experiences, knowledge and collective wisdom. We also need outlets that nourish our mental health just as water replenishes our bodies.
